Seems like a popular series...

... but if you ask me (not that anyone would, I know) the comedy seems forced. Almost like the writer(s) was sitting there with the idea that could be really funny, but then just couldn't come through with any actual funny parts to go with the funny idea. "Do I have beef jerky written on my forehead?" That was lame. Really lame. If I had to compare it to something that might shed light on my opinion, its like Episode 1 of Star Wars. Remember the originals (A New Hope, etc.)? How C3PO and R2D2 and Han and Chewbacca were the perfect comedic relief within the story line... it was like they couldn't do anything wrong. And it was good writing that did that. But then came Episode 1, and the expectation was so high that I believe the writers lost sight of what was truly interesting and truly funny... and so they wrote up the character of Jar-Jar Binks... and it sucked... and then it sucked some more. Episode 1 has about as much real comedy as a bowl of snot. Your movie reminds me of that... forced comedy that isn't very funny, and punchlines that leave you questioning whether they were really the punchline at all or if you should keep waiting in anticipation of one.

Oh... and the blur effect was WAY over-used in this movie.

meh i guess i just have bad taste of humour :) besides, this series is not about the amount of humour or sooper punchlines, its about the entire adventure. and dont you agree that comparing this to star wars is a bit farfetched? i mean, star wars had writers that were paid millions of dollars and eventually sucked at their jobs, while we are just 3 dudes who got bored on sundays. allright, maybe we have a tough time writing jokes, ill give you that ,and our humour (especially mine) is basically just about farts and poop, but im willing to bet that lots of people appreciate that, especially when most comic flashes basically have the same style of humour. (with that i mean, gore and violence) not that i have anything against that, not at all, but thats just not the direction were taking. we try to put simple, basic humour in a tough, tough storyline. ya dig? anyhoo, thanks fer reviewing, and even while i rant away at your review, i WILL keep it in mind for future episodes :)
oh and btw, youre right about the blur thing. tryin to cut back on blurring, i tend to use that filter to easily.

Confused...

So... the kid at the end was supposed to be portrayed as the "bad guy" even though he just helped that remnant dandelion fulfill its ENTIRE PURPOSE for life (that being to scatter its seeds to the wind and procreate)?? By the time a dandelion gets to that stage of development IT WANTS TO DIE... in fact, the seeds are the only useful part of its entire exitence at that point, and after they float off, that part of the plant is ready to die. In other words... that kid did it a favor. If THAT is hurting the environment... then the entire planet should be an ecological waste by now. Next thing you'll tell me is that cats getting the burs of plants stuck in their fur is aiding in global warming. Or that the "helicopter" seeds of Sycamore trees being knocked off of the trees branches is somehow dangerous and a harbinger of impending environmental doom.

In the end... it comes down to (in my oinion) a good idea, or an idea of good-intentions that has been fairly-well executed, but that has been based on a snippet of a story that was written based on ignorance and mis-understandings. Instead of choking, that dandelion should have been rejoicing.

yes, you are correct in that the kid helped the dandelion by spreading the seeds. I used the dandelion to represent more than just a specific plant. A point I tried to make is that our knowledge is limited. we might be doing something thinking we are helping, while hurting something else. the dandelion would not have needed to be broken off for the seeds to be released. the wind could've done it if we let nature take its course.
that was just my opinion anyways. of course a film like this is made for opinions and i appreciate you having one.

Strange...

An "end Flash" sort of "tag" is all that is portrayed, and yet this Flash seems to have no end. It's like some sort of paradoxical anomaly challenging the very meaning of life as we know it...

Nah, nevermind... it is pretty much just a turd. And its not even really juicy or all that smelly. More like one of those ghost turds that shoot straight down the pipes and don't even require a good wiping. Next time... include some more shit.
